What Trug handles
Trug works on the PDFs and images you give it — from the app, from Files or Photos, or from the iOS share sheet. It converts, resizes, compresses, merges, splits, rotates, crops, password-protects and runs OCR on them. It never uses the camera.
All of that happens on your iPhone. The results are saved where you choose to save them, and stay on your device unless you send them somewhere yourself.

What Trug does not collect
Trug has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. It does not collect, transmit, sell or share any data about you or your files. On the App Store this is declared as Data Not Collected.

Network use
The app contains no networking code at all, and its build fails if networking code is ever added. Your files cannot be uploaded because there is nothing in the app that could upload them.

Deleting your data
Files you save with Trug are ordinary files on your device; delete them the way you delete any other file. Deleting the app removes anything kept in its own storage. There is no copy anywhere else for anyone to delete.

Children
Trug is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
