What Quran Break collects
Nothing. There is no sign-up, no login and no user account. The app contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs and no third-party trackers.
I do not run a server for this app, so there is nowhere for your data to be sent and nothing for me to receive.
What stays on your device
Your reading position, saved ayahs, daily streak and settings are stored only on the device, in the app's own storage. None of it is transmitted to me.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it. Because there is no account, nothing syncs between devices and nothing can be recovered once the app is deleted.
Quran text and translation
The Arabic text, the English translation (Saheeh International) and the transliteration are bundled inside the app. Reading them needs no network connection and makes no requests.
That text comes from the Tanzil Project (tanzil.net).
Recitation audio
Recitation audio is not bundled. When you play a recitation the app streams that file on demand from EveryAyah (everyayah.com), a public third-party CDN, and caches it on your device so it does not have to be fetched again.
As with any web request, that tells EveryAyah your device's IP address and which file was requested. It happens directly between your device and them. I am not part of it and receive nothing. What they do with those requests is covered by their own practices, not by this policy.
If you do not play audio, the app needs no network connection at all.
Permissions
The app requests no permissions. It does not ask for your location, contacts, camera or microphone, and this version sends no notifications.
Ads and payments
There are none. Quran Break is free and non-commercial, with no ads, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
Children's privacy
The app collects nothing from anyone, and that includes children. There is no sign-up and no profile.
