What Habitfinity stores

Habitfinity saves the habits you create, the completions you log against them, and the settings you choose, in a database on your phone. If you set an optional display name, that is stored locally too.

None of it is created on, or synced through, a server. It stays in the app's own storage on the device it was entered on.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on the device for the days and times a habit is set to repeat. Scheduling and delivering them does not involve a server, so they work with no connection.

What Habitfinity does not collect

Habitfinity does not create an account, sync to a server, or upload your habits, completions or settings anywhere. It contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no crash reporting. Nothing is collected, transmitted, sold or shared with anyone.

Network use

The app is built to work fully offline. There is no backend behind it, so there is nowhere for your data to be sent even if you wanted to send it.

Earlier versions

Versions before 3.0.0 used an account and a cloud backend to store habit data. Version 3.0.0 is a complete rewrite that removes both — there is no account and no server any more, and this policy describes how the app works now.

Deleting your data

Settings → Reset all data clears everything Habitfinity has stored on the device. Deleting the app does the same, removing its database along with it. Either way, there is no copy anywhere else for anyone to delete.
